Sarah is a graduate of Lake Superior State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education. She is a member of the Ontario College of Teachers, and has also obtained several additional continuing education certifications. 

After University, Sarah continued to pursue various teaching related certifications in the health and wellness field.  She is a Registered Yoga Teacher (ERYT-500), Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider, Can-Fit Pro Personal Training Specialist, Certified Mat Pilates Instructor, an Esthetician, and a Certified Reiki Master Practitioner.  She is also certified in EFFT (Emotion Focused Family Therapy), Trauma Yoga, Pilates Vertical Repertoire, Pranayama Techniques, Meditation, and the doTERRA AromaTouch® Technique.  

A teacher by trade, Sarah has always been passionate about education and is a firm believer in the importance of life-long learning as a means to grow, become inspired and better serve others. Sarah offers a variety of public, private, corporate, small group and virtural/online classes, courses, trainings, and workshops by appointment on several topics such as, mediation, yoga, pilates, personal training, essential oils, mindfulness, self-care, kids yoga, breathing techniques/self regulation, curriculum development, and more. 

Sarah’s various wellness trainings have taught her to live each moment more mindfully and to always be grateful.  In her classes, Sarah aims to create a safe, inclusive, educational and nurturing environment.  Teaching allows her the honour of sharing her knowledge, while holding space for others to grow, heal, relax, and connect to the present moment through body awareness and breath.  Her background in education has kept her inspired and determined to teach and support people of all ages on their wellness journey.  

As an Esthetician, Sarah offers a variety of  luxurious Casmara facial treatments, each of which incorporate the use of ultrasonic technology. She also offers diamond -tip microdermabrasion treatments, hi-frequency, and anti-aging facials. In additon, Sarah offers a variety of other spa services including as manicures, pedicures, paraffin wax treatments, relaxation massage, doTERRA aromatouch technique, and full body waxing services on site at The Healing Loft, in Sault Ste. Marie.
