USUI REIKI: FIRST DEGREE COURSE

First Degree Reiki (Shoden – First Teaching)

First Degree Reiki is a beginner-friendly certification course that provides you with the basics of energy healing with a focus on self-care and caring for others. Reiki is a gentle, yet powerful healing modality, and may be used to bring healing to yourself, to others, to animals and even to plants. The course also includes an introduction to the seven chakras, instruction on the history of Reiki, the Reiki hand positions, the principles of Reiki, Reiki hands-on energy healing techniques, the philosophy of energy healing, and the science of interpreting energetic information. More information about the curriculum is listed below. 

In The First Degree Reiki Course.....
- Participants will learn what Reiki is, including the history of Reiki
- Participants will learn how energy is stored in and around the body
- Participants will learn about energy healing and energy healing with Reiki 
- Participants will learn the main concepts and principles of Reiki
- Participants will learn about and receive the First Degree Reiki attunement

USUI REIKI: SECOND DEGREE COURSE

Second Degree Reiki (Okuden-Inner Teaching)

Prerequisite: First Degree Usui Reiki

In Second Degree Reiki, participants will be attuned to send Reiki energy through time and space, and will learn various methods of distance healing. Second Degree Reiki greatly enhances the First Degree Reiki Treatments. Participants will also learn three Reiki Symbols and will gain a deeper understanding of the seven chakras, the importance of self-healing, and the science of interpreting energetic information.

Also, in Second Degree Reiki….. 
Participants will learn various methods of distance healing.
Participants will also learn new ways to work with clients one-on-one using distance methods. 
Participants will learn how to use distance healing methods with clients to heal past memories and difficult emotions. 
Participants will experience a guided session on ancestral healing. After instruction and guidance about ancestral healing, you will learn to use Reiki Distance Healing methods with a focus on healing your ancestors. 
The Second Degree greatly enhances the First Degree Reiki treatments.
Participants will learn three Reiki Symbols used for healing. 
Participants and will gain a deeper understanding of the seven chakras, the importance of self-healing and the science of interpreting energetic information, and more!
USUI REIKI: MASTER PRACTITIONER COURSE

Third Degree Reiki: Reiki Master Practitioner Level (Shinpiden - Mystery Teaching)

Prerequisite: Second Degree Usui Reiki

Participants are asked to required to wait six months after taking Second Degree before entering into the Reiki Master Course in order to allow the Reiki energy to integrate at a deeper level. The Third Degree Reiki MasterPractitioner Course is a six-week course.  
  • In the Reiki Master Practitioner course, participants will be attuned to three new Reiki Symbols, including the Reiki Master symbol.
  •  Individuals will be taught TWO NEW very powerful healing techniques using the symbols. These techniques, referred to as the Four-Symbol Attunement and the Six-Symbol Attunement, release old energy patterns and activate new ones. 
  • Participants will be taught new ways of working with clients in conjunction with the new healing techniques. 
  • Participants will be taught the next level of interpreting energetic information. 
  • Participants will be led through a self-healing experience.
  • Participants will be given the practical knowledge and tools to work on self-healing wounds and patterns in his or her life. 
  • Participant will learn ways to use the Master symbol to enhance First and Second Degree techniques. 
  • Included is also instruction on code of ethics, the concept of mastery, a variety of concepts to consider as a healer and as a master, and more! 
USUI REIKI: MASTER TEACHER LEVEL ONE

The Reiki Master Teacher Program:
Reiki Master Teacher Level One

Prerequisite: Usui Reiki Master Practitioner Level

A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step….

The Usui Reiki Master Teacher Level One Program attunes participants to attune students to the First, Second, and Third Degrees of Reiki. It also prepares participants to teach each of these three Reiki Degrees. Participants are asked to wait one year after completing their Third Degree Reiki Course before registering for the Usui Reiki Master Teacher Level One Program. 

 As a Usui Reiki Master Teacher, I have created a complete and comprehensive Reiki Master Teacher Training Program to thoroughly prepare my students to become Reiki Master Teachers. I am a teacher by trade with my Bachelor of Education since 1997, and I have been a member in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers since 1997. I began teaching professionally in 1997, and I have been teaching ever since. I began studying Reiki in 1998, and I began teaching Usui Reiki Courses in 2011. 

In my Usui Reiki Master Teacher Training Program, you will receive the Reiki Master Teacher attunement. This attunement will raise and shift your vibration on all levels: physical, emotional, mental and spiritual. It may take up to five years to fully integrate the Reiki Master Teacher attunement. The process of integration begins with the attunement. 

Once trained as a Reiki Master Teacher, it sometimes takes years before students decide to venture fully into teaching Reiki. As one Reiki Master Teacher commented, “You really have to ‘live it’ in order to teach it well.” Follow your intuition and trust your heart. If you choose to enter the Reiki Master Teacher Program, the speed at which you move forward in the Program is personal, and you will receive mentorship and support from me during each phase of your journey. The average time it takes to complete the program is two years, although some students may be able to finish it faster depending on their other time commitments and various other factors. You are encouraged to go at your own personal pace. 

At the end of the Reiki Master Teacher Program you may use the title, “Reiki Master Teacher,” and you will be certified and qualified to teach all three levels of Usui Reiki: First Degree, Second Degree, and Third Degree. 

Becoming a Reiki Master Teacher means that you have decided to commit to your own personal growth, to deepen your relationship with Reiki, to explore the archetype of the Teacher, to embody a lifestyle of healing, to increase your self-empowerment, to raise your vibration, and to embody the five Reiki precepts: do not anger, do not worry, be filled with gratitude, devote yourself to your work and be kind to all people. 
As part of your training, you will deepen your understanding of the three degrees of Reiki with the eyes of a Master Teacher. To assist you in this process, you will also learn various teaching styles, teaching techniques, and teaching aids. The curriculum in the Reiki Master Teacher Program delves deeper into the theory and practice behind healing and behind the Reiki teachings. In addition to being your teacher, I will also be available to you as a support in the roles of mentor and healer.

Just as Master Usui’s students followed him around his clinic, my Reiki Master Teacher students will be involved in my Reiki classes during the duration of their time in the Reiki Master Teacher Program. You will audit each of the three Degrees in the initial stages of the Program and you will be a Teaching Assistant in each of the three Degrees in the later stages of the Program. 

A common question Reiki Masters ask is, “Can I take the Reiki Master Teacher Training Program even if I don’t plan to teach?” The answer is, yes! Again, this is a very personal journey, and many Reiki Master Teachers don’t teach but take the Teacher Program for other reasons, such as personal development, to raise their vibration, to gain spiritual mentorship, to deepen their relationship with Reiki, and to deepen their own Reiki practice. Also, since it is now a pre-requisite for students to have their Reiki Master Teacher Level before entering into the practice of Karuna® Reiki, some students are entering the Usui Reiki Master Teacher Program as a way to become Karuna® Reiki Practitioners and Karuna® Reiki Masters and Teachers. 

I have a strong Teacher Archetype and the Spirit Animal, the Wolf, is one of my guides. From my own experience, I have learned so much about Reiki through teaching. As the old saying goes, “If you really want to learn something, teach it!” Nevertheless, not everyone has the desire to teach, and each of us must honour our own unique Paths. If you are not called to teach, yet are called to take the Reiki Master Teacher Program as a Healer, as a Student, as a Seeker, or as a way to enter into spiritual mentorship; welcome, your North Star Path will be strengthened through your work in this Program. 

I offer the Reiki Master Teacher Program to Reiki Master Practitioners when they are ready to commit on a deeper level to their own and others’ healing and service.

In summary, the Reiki Master Teacher Program that I have created is meant to prepare you to pass on the Reiki teachings, to prepare you to teach if you are called to do so, to deepen your passion for and commitment to Reiki, to raise your vibration, to enable you to connect more fully with people, to connect more fully with yourself, to release your limitations, to bring you greater abundance and joy, to strengthen your self-empowerment, to give you much support and healing, and to align you with your North Star Path.
