Last night was our final Fifth Degree Ascension Reiki class at The Healing Loft! It felt like something magical unfolded. ✨ The energy in the room was already so open and tender. The week before, we had gone through a deep forgiveness journey, and you could feel that those vibrations were still integrating, softening, opening, and creating space for something new. During class, we were talking about raising consciousness and the ascension process. I shared something I learned years ago from Access Consciousness - the power of asking a simple question: “What would it take?” It’s a way of opening to possibility without trying to control the outcome. So together, I set the intention: “What would it take for something wonderful and magical to happen by the end of our class?” Later, I guided the group through a shamanic lower world journey to connect to their power animals while drumming. As I played my drum, I began to hear a tone coming from the drum that I had never heard before - it didn’t sound like a drum at all. It was as if another instrument was layered into the sound. After the journey, as we shared our experiences, one student said, “I heard a flute coming from your drum.” Then another said the same… and another. We all paused in that moment, recognizing we had shared the same unexpected experience. It felt both strange and deeply beautiful. And then, suddenly… the lights in the room went out. Complete darkness for a few seconds. We all sat there, surprised, feeling into it. Then the lights came back on. And in that moment, I remembered the question I had asked earlier: “What would it take for something wonderful and magical to happen?” It made us all laugh and feel so joyful! Moments like these remind me of how responsive the universe can be and how when we open, ask, and allow, something beyond our expectations can meet us. I love this Ascension Reiki work. I love these classes. And I’m continually in awe of the magic that unfolds when we gather with intention. ✨ #ascension #ascensionreiki #reiki

Join us for a heart opening Cacao Ceremony. Cacao itself has a very rich bitter taste and is high in iron, magnesium, and antioxidants. Cacao contains B-vitamins, and It has also been shown to promote immunity, lower blood pressure and cholesterol. It is also nature’s most concentrated source of theobromine; a psychoactive ingredient which stimulates and energizes the human body. Theobromine is derived from the Greek, theo (“god”) + broma (“food”) and so is known as “food of the gods”. Cacao provides a boost of energy without the crash of other stimulants.   On a chemical level cacao can help to increase the flow of blood and oxygen throughout the body releasing endorphins and dopamine, the feel-good hormones which open the pathways of love, creativity, healing and soul truths. This season asks for rest. I’m listening. We all move through seasons. Some are full, fast, and outward. Others ask us to slow down, soften, and rest. This is one of mine. Almost nine months pregnant. Listening more. Doing less. Honouring what my body actually needs. This is one of my favourite restorative poses. So supportive and grounding, and especially nourishing during pregnancy. Your season doesn’t need to look like anyone else’s. Just prioritize what’s true. Both the doing and the resting.

Sometimes the most powerful medicine isn’t complicated. It’s breath. It’s movement. It’s slowing down in a space where your nervous system can soften. This is the energy we try to create inside The Healing Loft every day. A calm space. A supportive community. A place to land. 🤍
